Sharing with you is a shipment of both import and export that we handled for a client in Johor. He was moving in outdoor sports equipment and accessories from Sydney to Pasir Gudang for a weekend exhibition in Forest City, Johor. It was an urgent shipment given that time was limited and delivery had to be done on time for the set up of the exhibition.
Our scope of work includes arranging the haulage from New South Wales to Sydney Port, customs clearance in Sydney (which is done by our trusted appointed agent), freighting from Sydney to Pasir Gudang, customs clearance in Pasir Gudang by our office in Johor Bahru and delivery of all the seven SOCs to Forest City using side loaders.
Once the exhibition ended, the cargo was prepared to be sent back to Sydney. We also handled the export customs clearance and freighting from Pasir Gudang port to Sydney port. It took us quite a bit of challenge to get a carrier because December has always been a peak period, let alone SOCs. Finally and thankfully, our sea freight team managed to book spaces with ANL.
